Ok thanks for the clarification. For your target schools your GPA is not as major of an issue it's not great but will not keep out of consideration. Your GMAT can go a long way of balancing out your profile as many schools look at both numbers in conjunction as a measure of your aptitude. So a higher score in one can pull up the perception of a lower score in the other area. Now I think a greater concern is your work experience, you don't have much to speak of and it does not to be very impactful. MBA programs are looking for experience professionals and you just don't have much of that right now. So a major development area is to cultivate this area either at this firm or elsewhere. You mentioned your interest in business but that reads to general which may just be a function of the limited real estate we have in these forums but do some introspection and determine what aspects of business you want to pursue and work towards better aligning your current role with your career goals.

Hope this helps!

kgam,
For someone like you, it's important to lay out your story very clearly in order to convince adcom of the reasons for your career decisions thus far and the merit of your future plans.

It is certainly possible to get into the schools you mentioned if you have the right GMAT score and build up strong extra-curriculars, but you should build your profile carefully.

When are you planning to apply? Feel free to reach out for specific guidance along the way if you want help crafting the best profile and making sure you do the right things in order to increase your chances of getting in.

Good luck!
