Hello All,
I am applying to b school for this fall.(I know it's terribly late) I would love to know from fellow GMATclubers about LORs and the how-to's and what-not-to's about them.
More specifically if anyone could provide some information regarding the below questions, it would be really helpful:
1)Is there a way I can see the LOR that my recommend er has submitted, because I will have to talk/defend it during the interview, right.
2)Also, the LOR should talk atleast a little about what I have written in my essays. But it is unlikely that my supervisor will have the time to read my essay and then write my recommendations. So, would it be too impolite of me to ask them to show me what they have written before submitting. Or, is there a way I can edit them before they submit.
if they forward the email that they receive from the b school, will I be able to submit the recommendation
3)Do schools have a set of questionnaires that they send to the recommenders.
4) If my supervisor is not willing to share his company email for this, can I use his personal email
5)Also, the recommenders I have in mind, I'm pretty sure have never been through this process. So, how best to tell them a bit about the process and how it will impact my candidature.
To increase my chances of an admit with scholarship, I feel this is very important, and so I want the LORs to be bang on!
Any sort of inputs to the above will be really helpful for me to shortlist the recommend er.
