Hello,
I just took the GMAT a few weeks ago and got my offical results:
Verbal: 18, 16th percentile
Quantitative: 49, 90th percentile
Overall: 550, 55th percentile
Analytical: 5.5, 87th percentile
Now another key note to consider which others may not is that I just came back from an international co-op in Germany, from March-Sept. 2005.
With my results, will some schools either overlook the verbal because of this; or, could my high analytical writing score "counter" the verbal score. Are there some schools/programs/majors that will review the high quant. and analytical scores as the most relevant?
With these results I felt puzzled because when I did the practice tests my Quant. scores were around 70th-80th and Verbal around 40th-50th (similar to my SAT score).
I feel two-thirds proud and one-third humiliated... thank you for any advice and/or feedback you may offer.
