I have the OG book, which has the question bank accessible online through gmat.wiley.com. What is the difference between this portal / question set and the question set available on MBA.com (ex. the free 2 practice tests, and then the purchase packages of ¾ and 5/6)?
The reason I ask: I have the OG book, with all the questions on the wiley website. I was thinking to purchase the exam pack ¾ and 5/6 from mba.com, but I am not sure if the questions will repeat? Since they are different portals, I am confused if they are both official resources with the same question banks or not.

in my experience, the question pool for the GMAT Prep Tests (2 free practice tests and tests 3-6) is different from the questions in OG. While OG does give you the flavor of what is tested on the D-Day, GMAT prep tests are the only true representation of your real exam
So i would suggest you to kickstart with a diagnostic test to get a baseline score, then hit the OG and then go on to attempt the tests

Thank you for the insight. However, aren't BOTH considered official practice materials? (Why are the practice tests on MBA.com considered better? Is it just the timing component, or is the question pool also better or mor official?) To me, they both are marketed as official materials.
