apoorv601,

I don't think anyone has made a chart showing the unique questions among all the verbal questions from these guides. i had done it for quant but at this point in time it makes less sense to seek out older editions because GMAC has released new sources of questions such as GMATPrep Question Pack 1.

I would say get the latest official guide(if not the 2016 one then 13th edition works) and also the 10th edition. That should round out most of the questions in the older guides. Then move on to Question Pack 1.

Cheers,
Dabral

Hi apoorv601,

You'll likely find it far more beneficial to practice using Computer-based resources than working heavily out of books (since you're going to have to work off of a computer screen on Test Day). There is a 'mechanical' aspect of working in that fashion that cannot properly be matched by any book and practicing in a fashion that mirrors what you'll have to do on Test Day will improve your chances of hitting your goals. While using at least one of the OGs is a good idea (since there are so many retired Official questions in each), that part of your study should be supplemental.

When are you planning to take the GMAT?
What is your goal score?

Hi Rich,
I actually have all these books in the local library, but i wanted to study verbal questions that are different in these editions, just for practice.
Hey man! Can u post the questions in OG 8,9 and 10? or do u have a pdf version of all those? I need old OGs for my prep. Thankyou

Hi ganesh999,

Most of the posts in this thread are 2 years old - and the original poster hasn't logged on in 6 months - so you might not receive much of a response to your request. That having been said, you probably don't really "need" those old OG questions - so you have to be careful about assuming that "quantity" of study material is better than "quality" of material (and the Tactics that you could be learning/practicing).

1) How long have you studied?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) How have you scored on each of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?
4) What is your goal score?
5) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
