Hi,
I had a query regarding retaking the GMAT, I had taken the test this August and got a low score of 620. I feel it was bad luck and no prep and am confident that I can improve it to 700.(So in your opinion does it make sense for me to retake it or not? ) I intend to apply for mainly UK and other European schools.
Cambridge
Oxford
Cranfield
Warwick
Lancaster
Ashridge
These are the ones I am targeting, however one of the indian counsellor told me that if I retake the test within 6 months of my previous date, the bschool will take an average score and it will do me no good.
I want a clarification on the same, because schools like ISB takes the highest score.
Could you specificly tell me if the above mentioned schools take the average, or highest or the latest score into consideration. That will help me decide if i should retake the exam for the current year application or not. Though the bschools mention a score above 600 as their requisite the average score has been ranging in 660 and my work experience is of 4 yrs, which is below their average WE. Plus a better GMAT will improve my chances of a scholarship.
I have written to the bschools too, but so far there has been no response from them and time is of essence here.
Thanks, I'd appreciate an early reply.
