Hi Alex,
Could you please suggest how I can position myself better as an MBA re-applicant for Fall 2011 batch?
I am a 26yr old male Indian IT (in financial domain)
WE = will complete 7yrs in fall 2011, strong acads in high school, above average in undergrad, GMAT 770, average extra curricular, below average community exp.
I am looking for a post MBA career in Management Consulting/General Management field in the US. I submitted round 2 applications for the fall 2010 batch to Darden (Interviewed/Dinged), Ross (Interviewed/Dinged), Haas (Ding w/o interview) and Tuck (Ding w/o interview). I am planning to re-apply to Darden, Tuck and Duke for the fall 2011 batch along with some safe school. Is this a realistic choice and is there anything I could do as a re-applicant to improve my prospects? Considering I will complete 7 years of WE in fall 2011 (which is on the higher side), should i look for other (maybe European) programs that start around January? Again, thanks for your valued advice.
Best Regards,
Sandy
