It depends on how much more there is to your application, including leadership experiences, community involvement, and anything else that helps make you come across as unique. Definitely don't rule yourself ot just because of a GMAT score.

Nice... I am from an economically disadvantaged background, a heart defect from birth, and other difficulties that make me unique and compelling to those schools that have a "how are you different/diverse or have overcome adversity" type of essay. I think that I also have a great career change story... brokerage is just the very outskirts of finance. I want to get in to the guts of it with securities analysis.
