1) Brief description of your full-time work experience.I have 8 years of WE as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, with 2 of those years being a Clinical Instructor
2) Your GMAT.360...I know it is horrible, but I know I am bad at standardized tests and my schools average is a 510.
3) College info: The name of the college, your GPA or grade average, your major, year of graduation. For any graduate degrees, please provide the same info. If you grades are low, please indicate if there were extenuating circumstances.I have an AAS in Respiratory Therapy from The University of Akron (2004) w/ GPA 3.1 and a BA in Management from Malone University (2011) w/ GPA of 3.5 overall.
4) Significant college and post-college extra-curricular activities or community service, especially leadership experience.Being in the healthcare industry for 8 years, I have developed a lot of leadership experience, being lead therapist and a clinical instructor. I have also volunteered at many health/career fairs in my community.
5) Important certifications like CFA, CPA, FSA, or CA.No business certifications, but I am a licensed healthcare professional in the state of Ohio and have the highest credential available in my profession.
6) Your target programs.Kent State University
7) Your post-MBA goal.My post-MBA goal is to advance my career to maximal potential. I want to be in a c-level management position in the healthcare industry where I can lead that organization to success and maintain a solid competitive advantage.
I guess my main question is, do you think I can be accepted to Kent State University with a 360 GMAT score where the average is 510. My resume is great and my GPA is 3.5 and my letters of reccomendation were excellent too. I don't have time to retake the GMAT before the application deadline for a Fall 2011 start date and I really don't want to have to wait until Spring.
Thank you.
