Well, now you can save yourself the trouble :)
The only thing you will need is your transcripts.

Hi,

I wanted to understand whether the top MBA universities ask for work experience proof/document as part of their application process. If yes, is there any specific format or procedure one has to follow for the same. And if no, then how do they confirm that the applicant is posting correct information in the application form.

Regards

Most, if not all, schools run background checks. They hire an external company to verify your work experience. If any additional proof is needed, they will contact you. It goes based on the information you provide in your application, including your resume. Therefore, the process is mostly out of your hands unless you are prompted.

For things like extracurricular activities and non-professional credentials, it's based on the honor system. The schools are not interested in verifying if you were a member of a club in college, for example.

Hello geetsawhney93,

Schools do conduct background checks based on the information provided by you in your application form. There is no format for the same and all you need to do is to fill accurate information in your application.

With regard to extra-curricular activities, the school trusts that the information provided will be true. They, generally, do not ask for proof.

All the best!
