Hi there, nice job on the GMAT! That's a fantastic score! To answer your question, your admissions prospects are challenging but certainly not impossible. And here's why I say that - anywhere from 35% to 50% of students in the top US MBA programs are international. And that pool of applicants accounts for the rest of the world excl. the US. So yes, as an international applicant from a country that is traditionally over-represented in the MBA applicant pool, your chances are challenging. BUT with that said, I've worked with successful Indian male applicants every year who have applied to the top MBA programs so it can be done with the right story and stats. Your non-technical background could help differentiate you but ultimately what you accomplished in your career so far and the leadership experience you've had will matter just as much. As for your religious background, it completely depends on how that plays into your story. If it's simply a check the box, then it likely won't matter much. But if your religion has greatly influenced your life and decisions and that's something that plays into your larger career plans, then it could help. But again, it's about your story, not the simple fact.
I hope that helps! Best of luck to you!
