Italian,
29 years old
Msc Engineering Management (95% percentile) GPA 3,5
GMAT : 610
Work Experience :
3 years product marketing manager for India Middle East and Africa based in Milan, Italy ( travelling in the Region 50% of time) for a big multination company from Swiss that operate in the energy context
When I will apply I will get 2 years Senior Sales Assessor for South America based Sao Paulo, Brasil ( travelling in the region 50% of time ) in International Assignment for the same company.
I speak 4 languages : Italian (Mother tongue) English (Fluent) Portuguese (Upper Intermediate) Spanish (Upper Intermediate)
Goals :
Slight transaction of the industry and function: energy or high tech companies involved in a more financial role preferably in USA or Europe.
I´m targeting also consultancy firms that operate in above mentioned industries.
Since I´m in Brazil and I will stay for 2 years, I have targeted the double degree MBA offered by FGV in cooperation with HEC or UT McCombs.
Which one would best suite with my profile ?

Hi there,
Thanks for sharing your information. HEC will be your stretch school while McCombs is a bit more aligned. When do you plan to apply? Have you thought about retaking the GMAT? If you're applying in R2, you may want to consider giving the GMAT another shot by focusing on that for the next month, then direct your attention to the applications.

Thank you for the kind suggestions.
Yes, I'm planning to apply in R2, but due to some working issues (travels) I will not get time to prepare GMAT; are there any other specific area where I should put my focus in these months in order to increase my probabilities of get into these programm?
Moreover, few month ago I got the occasion to meet an HEC business developer who encourage me to continue with the application for the double degree programm nevertheless my "poor" GMAT score : based on your experience my CV is competitive enough to hope to be admitted ? How the admission to FGV would influence the admission to the others school please (HEC or McCombs)?
