Hi
Sia Admissions team,
At the outset, I would like to appreciate all the help you've been extending for the potential applicants. Kudos!! And I hope you can also help me in my career dilemma... please evaluate my profile and suggest.
Male/India/37 yrs.
My Academics are below:
10th: 70%
12th: 62%
BSc. (Botany): 60%

Have 12 yrs. of work ex post graduation:2005-2010: three jobs in the market research/business research companies (globally recognized firms) with global clients and projects. I had a very solid performance. Multiple recommendation letters and gradual promotions (last designation held- research Manager) from the higher authorities.
2010-2015: Founder/Director of my own market research company (f. 2010). Within three years, the revenues were USD 1Mn. Our firm's specialization included qualitative research, with clients such as IDEO, Innosight, Medtronic, Baxter etc. Slowly, our services evolved from just research to business model innovation strategy support. One of the projects that we worked for our client is featured in Harvard Business review. Unfortunately, slowly our clients lists and pipeline dried and we had to shut this venture.
2016-2018: Co-founder of a health-tech startup (a Diabetes/BP management app for chronic patients); startup was a part of the Microsoft Accelerator program, and got seed funding from Institutional investors in India.

Unfortunately, my last startup didn't do well too and had to shut it down. Have an incredible story to share about my stint with success and failures in professional life and why I chose to start a healthcare startup after running my own research co. for six years.

Expected GMAT score: 690-700 (Oct 2018) | Mock 1: 650

Two LOR's can be provided by my ex-client/s or supervisor who come from HBS/Wharton/Kellogg school background. I have built and managed my team of 30 members, so have experience of building businesses from scratch and run successfully.
Also, I am a widely published author of articles in business journals, with articles on business strategy, innovation strategy, business model innovation, startup mindset etc.

WHY MBA NOW?At this juncture of my career, and keeping my family requirements in mind, I decided to take up a job. Got a job offer of India-Head Innovation for a US-HQ tools company. But the company decided to scrap their entire business innovation team and hence never got to join or work for the company. This job opportunity was offered after 14 rounds of interviews and meetings.
After several applications and no-responses through multiple job sites, got some honest feedback from one of the prospective employers. And not having an MBA degree is a major concern for employers, maybe because the currently available candidate pool is truly vast in India.
Two more job applications at Manager levels- and companies replied, "You are over experienced to be considered for Manager roles".

Career Goals:Want to do one year MBA, from good business school (location is not a constraint for MBA or Job), which will consider my profile and recommendations unique and offer admit and scholarship/s if possible. Post which, I would be keen to explore positions in strategy consulting firms or Pharma/Healthcare companies in their corporate strategy roles.

Questions:
1. Please share your thoughts/feedback about my profile
2. Shall I be concerned about my age / experience?
3. Suggest a few suitable B-schools that offer 1 year MBA and can offer me suitable career prospects / job opportunities. Also, can't afford to spend too much on MBA so let's keep that in mind too.
4. With my average academics, will I get admit at the projected GMAT score of 700?

I keenly look forward to hearing from you. Thanks for the help.
