Hi
jdgribben,
Thanks for reaching out! We are currently working with a number of EMBA applicants who have a similar level of work experience as you (check out our
EMBA packages to learn more).
To address your GPA/EA question, while business schools
do take into account where you attended undergrad, it can still work if you attended a lesser-known university and did well. Securing a strong EA score on top of this, however, will give you a competitive edge that you did not previously have.
What do you want to do after the EMBA? Will you be going back to your company or trying to make a transition?
In order to advise you better and gauge your chances of admission at EMBA programs like Darden and Stern, it would be good to know some more info about your background and goals. Feel free reach out directly via if you don't wish to post publicly, or if you want to talk about how we can help get you into these programs:

Hello experts!
I am a soon-to-be 40yo white male looking to start an executive mba in 2023. This May, I graduated with a bachelors degree in Business Management from Immaculata University with a 4.0 gpa after only have 6 credits from when i was 18. I am a sales operations manager for a financial services company and have 16 years of work experience.
Most of the schools I am looking at offer a test waiver; however, I am open to taking the EA, if needed. I know my undergrad school isn’t top tier, but I wasn’t sure if my gpa is strong enough to make up for that.
There are a few schools in the Philadelphia area that I feel confident about getting in after having conversations with their admissions team, but I was curious if my profile is strong enough to get into Darden’s or Stern’s (DC) EMBA.
Any insight?
Thank you!
