Hi all,

I ended a practice test early after I finished the quant and verbal sections in the GMATPrep software and wanted to know if there was a way to re-instate the score if it is now showing "No Score" under my test. Pretty frustrating to say the least.

Hi all,

I ended a practice test early after I finished the quant and verbal sections in the GMATPrep software and wanted to know if there was a way to re-instate the score if it is now showing "No Score" under my test. Pretty frustrating to say the least.

Unfortunately, there is no way to "fix" this. Take the remaining test without pressing reset if you want to ensure that there are no repeat questions.

Happened to me too. Worst feeling. Sadly, don’t think there’s a fix.

Do not reset. You can fix this issue.

Download Sqlite and edit the tables within the database storage for GMATPrep. The database, ‘preptool.vb’, is in C:\Users\[replace this with your name]\AppData\Roaming\GMATPrep\Local Store\. The table is exam_session, and the field is 'status'. You must edit the field for the row with the highest sessionId. Set status = 1. Reload the GMATPrep software.

When I change the "Status" from "2" to "1" and I reload gmatprep it's giving me an error. Am I doing something wrong?



Edit: have to quit and save the work done in SQLite in order for GMATPrep to work again. This worked perfectly. Thank you!!

I recently received a PM about how to do this in a mac. I did some searching and found this quote that may be helpful.

You can find the MAC files here: ~/Library/Preferences/GMATPrep/Local Store

To get to this directory, open a Finder, press Shift-CMD-G and copy and page the address above in the box. On MAC, the filename is preptool.db (not pretool.vb).

Hi, same issue happened to me but I was not using the software and took the exam via gmat prep online platform. any chance to retrieve my score there?
