Do not reset. You can fix this issue.

Download Sqlite and edit the tables within the database storage for GMATPrep. The database, ‘preptool.vb’, is in C:\Users\[replace this with your name]\AppData\Roaming\GMATPrep\Local Store\. The table is exam_session, and the field is 'status'. You must edit the field for the row with the highest sessionId. Set status = 1. Reload the GMATPrep software.

(I can't post urls so you will need to search)

Edit:
I've received a pm asking to clarify. Here is a picture for reference. Hopefully that clears things up.

Thanks a ton for the solution, you are a life saver, this trick really helped me with getting a score, otherwise would have lost a lot of time and effort, thanks a ton.

When I change the "Status" from "2" to "1" and I reload gmatprep it's giving me an error. Am I doing something wrong?

Edit: have to quit and save the work done in SQLite in order for GMATPrep to work again. This worked perfectly. Thank you!!

I recently received a PM about how to do this in a mac. I did some searching and found this quote that may be helpful.

KamiG wrote:
You can find the MAC files here: ~/Library/Preferences/GMATPrep/Local Store

To get to this directory, open a Finder, press Shift-CMD-G and copy and page the address above in the box. On MAC, the filename is preptool.db (not pretool.vb).
