Dear all,
Over the past 7 years, my team and I helped engineers get accepted to the Harvard, Wharton, Stanford, INSEAD and every other top-10 MBA program.
A bit about myself:
I am a former member of Wharton's Admissions Committee.
As a past applicant, I was admitted to the MBA programs at Harvard, Wharton and INSEAD.
My GMAT score was only 650... but it seems I got the essays right
Nowadays, these essay creation practices make a difference for Vocaz clients.

Since 2002, I have been dedicating my time to researching MBA admission techniques, helping MBA applicants, meeting with MBA admissions committees, and updating our service in preparation for each MBA admission season.

Let me brief you about my profile before i ask my queries.
Age:24(Indian)
Education :Xth - 77.6%CBSE
XII -83%CBSE (3rd in class)
Dropped 2 yrs to prepare for IITJEE.
IITJEE'06 - AIR 3514
Joined IT-BHU (expect to get an IIT degree due to conversion of our college)
Degree : Integrated M.Tech in Engineering Physics(5yr course)
Expected Grades :7.4above or 7.5 / 10 (result awaited) (Class standing : 7th/7students)
Though i scored decently in my JEE exam in Maths (60+ score .. passing marks were below 30) and XIIth CBSE (90) .. my grades at college for the 4 semesters we studied maths were P E P S in this order only(P = just pass,S= highest grade).
Extracurriculars: Won gold for 3 yrs in basketball (2 yr as a team member,Captain in 3rd yr), Won gold in volleyball (inter hostel tournaments), Stood 1st in folk dance in university cult fest(captain) and a few more awards.
Learning guitar for quite some time.. hopeful of pursuing this.
CAT'11 (self study): quant-87%,DI-98.3%
GMAT : planning to give it in 3-4 yrs. I am pretty ordinary in english.Working on that.
Recruited as an Associate Soft. Engg. at a private technology consultancy firm focused on the Capital Markets industry(starting from mid june).
Planning to work in financial markets only for 4-5 yrs.
Will sit for a CFA/FRM exam within a year.
I want to pursue MBA in finance / marketing 4-5 yrs down the line from top 10 B schools.
Queries :
1. Is a CFA/FRM sufficient to bring me at par with other students having 8+/10 pointers in terms of academic excellence?
2.What other areas should i improve upon?
3.Am I pursuing a far fetched dream ?Should i rather aim for ISB/IIM's ?
