Conclusion by Plant Management : The Number of third eyed fish is due to contamination in Water source in the area.
(A) The study does not differentiate between different types of pollution- We doesn't need info about diff type of pollution- out of scope.
(B) Communities in the valley have not changed their fishing locations- Same as A- out of scope- Since we don't need the info about the fishing locations.
(C) Toxic chemicals discharged at the plant find their way into local water sources- Since study tells that the water source is area is polluted(But not how)- This option says that polluted due to the discharge from the plant- Correctly weakens the argument made by Plant Management- Also strengthens the argument made by Environmentalist.
(E) There had been incidents of three-eyed fish reported on several occasions before the nuclear power plant was built- Strengthens the Argument made by Plant Management.

C is a clear winner.
From activists point of view, pollution by radioactive waste is the cause of three-eyed fish. the management's point is that the sources of water in the valley are contaminated, three-eyed fish appear as a result of this contamination(in short he is saying they are not responsible for the contamination ). if the plant is polluting the sources of water, the activists' point of view is right, thereby weakening the managements point of view. hence C is right.
D says the plant uses radioactive waste. but does that mean the plant is responsible for contamination? not necessarily. we have no conclusive proof to believe so.
From activists point of view, pollution by radioactive waste is the cause of three-eyed fish. the management's point is that the sources of water in the valley are contaminated, three-eyed fish appear as a result of this contamination(in short he is saying they are not responsible for the contamination ). if the plant is polluting the sources of water, the activists' point of view is right, thereby weakening the managements point of view. hence C is right.
D says the plant uses radioactive waste. but does that mean the plant is responsible for contamination? not necessarily. we have no conclusive proof to believe so.
