Hello everyone,
I am Sounak Saha, from Kolkata, India. I am looking to apply to ESMT Berlin for the Master's in Management. This is the first and only MiM application I am looking to make this year and this comes as a turning point in my career. I have scored 316 in my GRE, with 161 in Quantitative Reasoning and 155 in Verbal Reasoning. Based on the GRE score, how can I gauge my chances to be shortlisted? Moreover, I am in serious need of guidance regarding my essays. Could anyone helps me out?
Thank you in advance.
Sounak
Hi
Sounak97,
While EMST Berlin’s MiM does not report average GRE score, they have noted that those on the Quantitative Business track have an
average GMAT of 640. Comparatively, your current GRE is on par, if not above, this score. While you may benefit from scoring a bit higher in verbal, determining whether or not you should do a retake requires me to know a bit more about your profile.
I am curious how many (if any) years of work experience you have. While MiM programs do not require work experience, many students will have a year or so before enrolling. For those who do not have full-time work experience, they have internships.
