Hello Experts and friends,
Would need inputs and feedback for the recent GMAT attempt I took.
690 - 49Q 34V - Gmat 1 - Online
620 - 49Q 26V - Gmat 2 - Offline
690 - 50Q 32V - Gmat 3 - Offline (ESR Review Requested, please find the ESR attached)
Verbal is now my Tier 1 arch-nemesis.
Besides inputs on the ESR and feedback, please suggest the following:
a) For the CR section - Prethinking is probably not working out for me, any tips on what to change in the prep? What does the Construction/Plan segment of ESR for the CR section consist of?
b) For SC - Does 100% of communication represent knowledge of the ability to comprehend the meaning of the sentence?
Please mention any other insights you could share from ESR and suggest any next steps.
I would also like to thank you in advance for taking the time to respond to the thread!
Hi
mbamisfitI would share justa. caution. ESR represents only your performance in that particular test. so a 100% on communication might be an outcome of just 1 question of that type that came in your exam.
You should take broad excerpts from the ESR instead of taking the performance in this test at face value.
and that broad point is that your CR and SC are weaker in comparison to most other test takers. And this is where the ray of hope hits because these two units are easiest to marvel at for a candidate who has just got Q-50 and has shown consistency in logical ability.
Your time on CR is above average and accuracy is below average so perhaps you need to understand the type in CR which bothers you. Generally, it's assumption or inference questions for the majority which seems true in your case as well with 25%ile in Construction/plan questions
Clearly, you need to learn Grammer to ace SC.
I hope these points help you a little bit.
