IIM Essays

Question

Hi All ,

Hope all are doing fine and safe in this situation.

I been trying to dig out essays related information , sharing my top doubts below, will appreciate if someone can guide : 
- are the topics only disclosed after shortlisting process is done ? is yes , how ? is it normally published on IIM official links / website or some other way ? 
- previous years topics ? is there any resource or link where i can look into typical essays and guidelines around those which been asked.

For the essay topics for each iim here in gmat club u can go to that particular iim forum discussion where u can get the relevant info

IIM essays are part of WAT when a student is called for Interview selection round. And as much as I researched through internet, the essay topics are more Generelized on current section as compared to foreign B-Schools. I will suggest you to make a habit of reading current affairs to go through that essay round. Other than that you don't require any such essential to convert your admission call.

Hi ATD,

I assume you are asking about the essays required for completing the application. 
For IIM A: you have to first submit your application, and only if shortlisted, you will be asked to submit two essay questions. 
For IIM B & C: you require an SOP and you can find the actual question on the Application portal
