Hi
Disha27,
Thank you very much for sharing your profile. Your background and experiences make you eligible to apply to an MBA. Most universities are on the final deadlines or have already closed their application submission for intake 2018. To not rush into applying to just any MBA program, I recommend you apply for the 2019 intake, which means that most applications are due in the fall/winter of 2018. This gives you enough time to improve your profile and submit a stellar application.
Areas to improve: There are institutions that offer intensive courses to prepare you for MBA work. If you could take one of those courses (Like edX's courses in Accounting, Finance, Math, and Data Analytics (with certificates) or from HBX, or any other known platforms) and do well, these can have a significant positive impact on your profile, especially since your undergraduate major is English. This will also prepare you to succeed in any program you choose to enroll in.
Scholarships: You may be eligible for scholarships. Universities list scholarships they have available, but those are usually distributed with the offer of admissions. The more developed your resume, the better your chances of receiving a scholarship with you offer. Also the application round you submit also impacts the amount of scholarship you are eligible for. There are also external scholarships available that can help offset the cost of an MBA. Receiving multiple offers can also increase the amount you receive (but you must first receive admission).
I do have a couple of questions for you: What's your career plan? Which sectors are you focusing on? Why an MBA? and Why now?
I think you would benefit from a free consultation so we can further discuss your profile, and see how we can help. If interested, please reach out to coordinate. You may either email us using the email address listed in the signature or follow this link:
