I am wondering what the amount of questions out of 36 one can expect to get wrong and still achieve a V41? I have been doing some research and have found that 5-7 questions is around what one can get wrong and still achieve this score. Does this sound accurate?

That range seems fine. Just keep a couple of things in mind:
1. The GMAT is an adaptive test, so accuracy is not usually a very good predictor of score.
2. The verbal section has only 30 "real" questions (so that 5-7, even if it is accurate, is not out of 36).

Unfortunately, no one can provide a definitive answer to your question. Remember, your GMAT score is based on not only the number of questions you answer correct/incorrect, but also the difficulty of those questions, among other things. For that reason, it’s difficult to say the number of questions you can get wrong and still score V41. Thus, you should focus on the things you can control, and the number one thing you can control is getting better at the GMAT. If you get to a point at which you can dominate the GMAT, the specifics of the scoring algorithm won't matter because you will have the skills that you need to get an amazing score, right?
With that said, when is your GMAT? What is your GMAT score goal? You may find it helpful to read this article about
