I've been getting a lot of questions from our GMATClubers asking about Canadian programs so I'm back at ya' with some info on our northerly neighbors.
Whether or not a Canadian program is right for you does depend on your goals / background these programs. But man, with tuition running you 10-40% less than the US, visas being easier to come by than the US, and costs of living in most major Canadian cities being about 10% less than comparative US cities we know why Canada is looking better and better for international applicants. The only bad news is that with a major increase in applications in the past year or two, they are becoming more and more competitive. Top notch written materials, a solid GMAT score, bulletproof goals - these are all going to help your chances at a top Canadian program.
