rejected at kellogg (management and organizations)

a bit dissapointing, i must say. no email, no phone.. just checked the website as i did everyday.
so i have one admit, one reject two to go (harvard,mit)

I'm sorry... I would like to understand what kind of applicants Kellogg is looking for this year, high GMAT scores and GPAs don't seem to make the difference.

john - is your Kellogg ding for the Management and Organizations program?

From gradcafe, it seems like only 2 or 3 business schools are more regular in releasing results thus far. e.g. UPenn and Kellogg.

Speaking of Kellogg, I'm nominating it as this season's application killer.

Folks - I have done up a system over the weekend to keep track of application outcomes at https://www.gradjournal.com/. It is something similar to gradcafe with more enhancements. e.g. it is more structured and links the application outcome with the applicant's profile.

However, I will continue to upkeep this outcome list here.

Thanks. While I think MIT BPS has made its decisions, it may have waiting list there to ensure 5-6 enrollments every year. TIE is a great program, and has a very wonderful placement record. BTW, UMICH is also an excellent choice. Frankly, it is better than Duke strategy group since Jim Westphal just moved there and it looks like he would not leave in several years. Anyway, you have done a great job. Congrats!

Don't get me wrong, I am ecstatic that I have a decision to make, but it will not be easy. My main thoughts are what will make me a better researcher (develop strong and interesting research streams) and what place will get me the best footing for jobs, ceteris paribus. It may not be the case that I can get the best of both at one place. Anyone else like to chime in on this? Also, any opinions on the various schools to which I was admitted would be appreciated (thanks buckeye). I'll refrain from giving my own take on those places for now since they are in play so to speak.

As far as method of notification, it was email for Duke and UT Austin, in person at UNC, and phone at Michigan. I had interviews prior to acceptance at all but UT Austin.
