i just found out i was admitted from checking my online app by chance. can anyone share what information is included in the letter they send in the mail. such as when deposits are due and if scholarship info is in that letter?

Congrats joesolo! The same thing happened to me too! They will call you in a few days and you will also receive the official mail. No schol info yet - they said decision on scholarship takes 2-3 weeks from the date you receive the official confirmation. Before deposits, they will ask for your financial info.. those details will be mentioned in the mail, or you can call the fisher grad office.

I am a R3 applicant and I could use the community's help in the application process - such as how many days on an average does the school take to send out an invitation from the date you submit your application.

It took me 2,5 months. @.@ I had trouble with my Toefl scores which were sent to the school 3 weeks after I completed my submission.

But it was worth the wait. LOL

I got an admit as well (last week - on 22nd). Its been a long wait but in the end worth every bit.

Btw, I was interviewed by Rebecca on the 14th. She did interview me in depth, especially regarding my previous experiences. Heads up to those yet to be interviewed. And good luck.

I submitted my application before the Round 1 deadline, that is, before Close of Business on the 15th October 2013.

Unfortunately, I assumed that since English was the language of instruction throughout my schooling, and the fact that the official language of my country is English; I wouldn’t have to take the TOEFL or IELTS exams. However, after communicating with the admissions processing department, I was made to realize that it is compulsory for me to take an English Proficiency test.

I wrote the IELTS exams on the 8th January 2014. The results were released on the 22nd January, and i scored above the minimum required score. I scanned the results and sent to the admissions processing department. They said I have to wait till they receive the official results.

Considering that I am a round 1 applicant; after the admissions committee receives my official IELTS results, how long would it take for me to be notified about the admissions committee’s decision.
