Another thing you can do: try to find the errors, if any, without looking at the 5 options first.

main()
{
If
{ you didnt find any error(s), then great, move ahead and quickly scan the choices to confirm A
}
Else
{
scan the choices to match the errors you found in the original sentence
}
}

I really need help regarding SC section..

I have done Manhattan SC 2005 edition 2-3 times + Grammar book for reference + Manhattan Review Guide but whenever i try to solve OG my accuracy is just 60 %..

I am planning to give my GMAT next month but don't know how it would be possible with such a bad performance...

Any help would be highly appreciated..

Thanks

My advice would be try to rember the facts rather than just reading it over and over again. Understand that the time your spending re reading is more than the time it takes you to note down a few facts for referring later.

Or you could use gmatpill i heard it is provides SC flash cards and it helped some people.

If you remember atleast 5 concepts each day, Then it would be much more helpful. ( If hypothetical + Then Conditional, never use could, would with if. )

Modifiers are indeed tricky. If you have exhausted MGMAT SC and still not comfortable with the modifies, I will suggest you to read a grammar book. Google the modifiers, and master the concept and keep learning until you are clear about the concepts.

On gmatclub search specific posts of modifies and practice exhaustively.

RC, RC, RC!!!! I have to kill this beast, but how??? I take 12 minutes to read & answer a long passage & 10 minutes for a small passage. My GMAT Prep attempt has shown me that without RC, I can never imagine to get a verbal score of 40. So I need to tackle my RC. I have gone through different approaches & the best which suits me is of Gin. Any thoughts of you guys????

Gin's approach is nice.... With time and practice you can master the RC.

2 RC's a day keeps the fear away.!!!

Hi Gurpreet..

This might be the wrong place to post this Q but i could not find any place for this Q..

I am planning to give Gmat in the end of July.. Till date i ve neither given any GMAT prep Test nor done with OG 12 verbal... Should i take a Gmat prep first to analyze where i stand or should i complete my OG 12 verbal before going for GMAT prep..

Need help from seniors...

Thanks

Real Gmat without Gmatprep and OG12 is suicidal. Gmat should be given when we are at most 20 points away from target score. So do give the test and try to work harder to achieve your target score within a month.

I think i could not make my Q clear... i wanted to ask Gmatprep first (before OG12 verbal ) for analyzing where i stand OR Gmatprep after Completing OG 12 verbal too...

definitely i agree that Real GMAT without Gmatprep n OG 12 is suicidal n i never meant the same..

Thanks

Oh sry. It all depends upon you, I have not given any gmatprep as I want to save it for the later use. But since only a month is left you should start giving gmatprep as you can practically leech out 4 tests by installing it again.
gmatprep-gmat-prep-powerprep-power-prep-free-tests-77548.html

Give a test asap, analyze you score properly and make a realistic plan for the coming month. Give proportionate time to sections in OG12.

Eg. if you score more on quant PS but lesser on DS. Spend more time on DS in OG12.

lemme know if its clear now. Best option is to post this query here...->

Perfect combination. Do practice RC along with other two sections.
