Hi MarcoTough
You’re actually in a good starting position, 695 GMAT + strong GPA in engineering + European background is already competitive for many top programs. The bigger challenge, as you’ve rightly pointed out, is storytelling and communication, which are critical for MBA applications especially essays and interviews.

If you’re considering both INSEAD/Bocconi + US MBAs, the best path would be:

1. Refine your school list strategically (mix of reach/target/safe across EU + US)
2. Build a clear and compelling story (why MBA, why now, career goals)
3. Get structured support for essays + interview prep, since that’s your key gap

This is exactly where working with us can make a big difference. We at ARINGO MBA Admissions Consulting specializes in helping applicants like you translate strong profiles into strong applications, especially when storytelling isn’t your natural strength. We help with school selection, essay strategy, positioning, and interview prep, which can significantly improve your chances at top programs.

If you’d like, feel free to schedule a quick call, happy to help refine your positioning and essay strategy.

MarcoTough
Hi Guys,

I am European, GMAT 695, Engineering with high GPA, ...

I am not a great storyteller nor a great communicator.

I am applying to Bocconi and INSEAD but I would like to consider also US MBAs.

I am looking for support in writing my applications and preparing the interviews, also to receive support in choosing the best MBAs to apply.

Do you know which is the best path I can follow ?

Thank you.
