west coast (california) applicant here. was called by connie s. at 8:50 AM cali time to be admitted! just wanted to respond back to the thread since there were so many questions about the west coast. she didn't tell me a specific time the portal would be updated.

I do not know...I had my tuck interview today 10:15 EST and it really tested my nerves to forget about it during that half an hour..And I really freaked out after the interview....So yes it was a black out..I am expecting he called me because I got in coz I dont remember whatever he said

I had the same reaction a couple of days back with Tuck. Was a bit calmer when speaking to Jake today.

Congratulations. For all the others from West Coast hoping that we may get a call, I think this is the final nail in the coffin !! :( . My energies at this point are at an all time low with Fuqua rejecting me second year straight.

Chusu123, it seems the adcom is switching things up a bit so dont lose hope. Also, you might be waitlisted in round1 and get accepted in the next 2. They are still shaping the class so its not over till its over buddy.

Definitely, big congrats to you and your fiance DTOMAS! Quick question, can you currently view your old waitlisted decision on your portal page or is it removed? I just want to confirm the idea that if you will be taken off the waitlist then your previous decision notification will be removed earlier in the day. Congrats again!

Admitted!!! :-D

Indian applicant.. Got the call from Jake at 11:29 AM ET on my India mobile number, even though I had mailed them a couple of weeks back and shared my US contact details (I've moved to NY temporarily). Answering the call on ISD turned out to be expensive, but then such calls don't come often :wink:

Looking forward to connect with other Fuqua admits in NY.. Anyone up for it?

Jokesta, was wondering why you think that adcom is switching things up?

I hope you're right, but signs point to it being over for us who haven't heard.

Admitted! :-D I received a call from Connie at 2pm EST. Duke was by far my first choice after my visit and I had just about given up hope. I'm out of the country on work. When I received the call from Connie, she let me know she was about to give up, having called two or three times already. Though I don't post often, I really can't thank everyone on this forum enough for all the help and support throughout this unbelievably stress filled process. Best of luck to everyone!
