Thank you so much, bb!

Just a quick follow up:
1. Yale actually requires the official results. So I just emailed them to let them know and ask for guidance. So now I'm waiting.
2. The other schools don't require the official results. In this case, you'd recommend I self-report 675 at this point and eventually correct the section numbers in case anything changes?

There will not be any changes to any numbers. I’ve never seen changes to numbers as the result of any review.

The only outcome that may come out of this is in some extremely rare cases your entire score may get canceled but this is an edge case and I’m not sure how you could prepare for it or that you even need to worry about it at this time. I would submit your 675 and the sectional scores for all the other programs and I hope Yale can get back with you in time. I can tell you there’s probably another 20 people emailing them with exactly the same question 😂

Hi, I am in a similar situation. I took my GMAT on 23 December 2025 and still have not received the official score on mba.com. I have also not received any email from GMAC indicating a delay. Do you think this is a cause for concern? I took the test offline. What steps would you advise me to take next?

Hi. A few months ago they started conducting also audits of the test center based exams which is surprising and interesting but though started happening....

You definitely should be checking in with them especially if you have not received any communication.

Otherwise, I would suggest following the same steps send as mentioned you’re not the only one in this boat and this has been happening also a few years ago when there was a backlog during the holidays for exam security audits. This did not happen last year but two years ago there was a 20 day delay and some people even had to wait a month. Schools are familiar with this and they have a process for it.

I’m in a similar situation. I took the GMAT Online on January 4 and received the same “security check / up to 20 business days” email the following day. I saw my preliminary score during the exam, but I still haven’t received the official score report.

Did you eventually get your score after that email? And if so, how long did it take?
