Hi
I am an Indian but thankfully not a techie. Instead I call myself a mechie because of my undergraduate major in Mechanical Engineering from PESIT , a reputed college & now an autonomous university located at Bangalore, Karnataka).
I have been working for the past 8 years at H.A.L - a defense PSU in the Aircraft Research & Design Center as a Deputy Manager ,in the Planning & Production Control , handling the Land & Naval Prototypes that aided in the recently succesful induction of the Light Combat Aircraft programme (Code name: Tejas) . I was in charge right from Planning the Production Sequence of various structural modules to the Final Assembly of the prototypes and Hand-over to Ground Test for Air-Worthiness tests prior to Taxying and First Flight.
Prior to that, I began my career (courtesy of campus placement) at Toyota in the Production Engineering Department, where I had joined as Trainee and quit in a year as i received the aerospace offer.
Extra-Curriculars: Certified Grade I & Grade II in Music Theory from Trinity School of Music. I have to yet appear for grade I Practicals although I can play the riffs of Metallica ,
Pink Floyd , Led Zeppelin and their ilk with decent accuracy.
Can Speak four Indian Languages and currently getting better at Spanish.
Worked as Field Supervisor for an state-government aided NGO for six months during a period of State Crisis in 2013.
Love to Cook,Explore, Read books and Watch Soccer/Football.
Participated & Won Intra-City Elocution Competition at school.
Given the slope of my career curve and its direction,I seek a MBA to acquire the necessary state-of-the-art management practices to complement my technical competence. Specifically a program that has both Industry and Strategy/Consulting in the Operations domain.
Scores sent to:
1-HEC Paris
2-Tepper (CMU)
3- Ross
4-iE
5 Said (Oxford)
Since R1 deadlines are around the corner, I would really appreciate if an
mba Mission Consultant would advice my chances in the afore-mentioned colleges. I would also highly appreciate if suggestions of similar colleges or colleges where i would be a "SNUG FIT"
