Although this debrief is a partial take on how you should prepare, mostly it is about you should not take your exam no matter what.
As an Indian I was extremely good at math at a high school level and college level, but wait a second I was not good at being an Indian. I was just better than anyone compared in the world. I have math olympiad plus I was 1% MATHEMATICS MERIT coverage. I am extremely good at topics like arithmetic and calculus ( which is obviously of no use here) but that's where it ends
Your math level and the way GMAT tricks you are two different games altogether. Due to my work load i booked the date on 24th of MAY 2017 and started the prep around 4th of MAY . Ya who in the world would do that in just 20 days but not so far away i happened to get a q50 in my MOCK 1 of GMATPREP.
MOCK2 SAME story - Q50.
Now here it started falling for me. Verbal is a tough section as it gets and following my not a covered preparation i happened to take the test and score a horrible horrible V21 .
Also to add to the fire it was a Q49 with IR6. THIS is what depicts a rushed exam with not taking preparation seriously.
Next time lets see where it goes!!!
