Hello,
I took my GMAT online and got 700. After a few days I was told that my scores were cancelled because I used earplugs. I have been trying to appeal the decision with multiple emails but no response. Since in the test centers you are allowed to use earplugs and headphones I see no real reason for my scores to be cancelled.
Any information on the topic will be widely appreciated.

Hi. Sorry about your experience and sorry about losing your score. Unfortunately you cannot use earplugs or headphones during the at home test.
I told her get your argument and that you are able to use them at a test center to muffle the noise but unfortunately they’re not allowed at home during the test. The reason is for cheating. They’re not sure if you have an AirPod or a Bluetooth headset that has someone telling you the answers. You can stop wasting your time trying to appeal it. You need to register for another test and retake. sorry.

I am surprised by two things:
1. Was this not mentioned in any of the instructions?
2. Didn't the proctor notice that and guide you?
