GMAT Club Timer/Error Log and and Overall accuracy

Question

Hey guys, so I have just started my preparation for GMAT and been using the GMATclub timer and error log to track my progress.

So far I have been seeing an accuracy rate of of 72% over all among the 3 sections, with the same accuracy in the 3 verbal question type also.

As someone who is aiming to score atleast a 40 on verbal as a minimum, what sort of standards should I be aiming for during my practice. A benchmark would be helpful to track progress. Any insights are welcome =)

Using Gmat clubs time and error log accuracy may not be the right tool to predict Verbal Score!

Reason being you might solve too many easy/ medium questions and less of hard Or Vice-versa and its neither adaptive. Mock tests of any vendor GMat club or you could use scholarnium of eGmat to predict your accuracy better

To be more accurate in judging yourself, try to test your accuracy pertaining to each level in the GMATclub separately.
In my opinion, if your accuracy rate in sub-600 questions is 90% and in 600-700 is 80%, there is high probability to get >38 in verbal.
To go beyond 40, you should have >60% accuracy rate in 700 level questions.

if you are non-native, getting 40 in verbal could be as tough as getting 49-50 in quant.

Focus on questions from KNOWN sources (especially in verbal) as the official guide, GMAT prep, MGMAT and Veritas.
compare your timing with the average of other members in GMATclub.
