Here the risk of extinction is increasing.
Answer choice (A) fails to show this distinction.
Answer choice (C) correctly shows this correctly.

Hence answer choice (C) IMO.

A. As the temperature keeps rising in Antarctica, the risk of extinction faced by species that cannot migrate to the colder south has been increasing.
--> Passive usage. Might have a better answer.

B. As the temperature keeps rising in Antarctica, species unable to migrate to the colder south have been increasingly facing the risk of extinction.
--> "have been" suggest the situation started long back while the situation is forward looking from today

C. As the temperature keeps rising in Antarctica, species that cannot migrate to the colder south are increasingly facing the risk of extinction.
--> Looks okay.

D. The temperature keeps rising in Antarctica, and as a result, species that cannot migrate to the colder south have been increasingly facing the risk of extinction.
--> Meaning change

E. The temperature keeps rising in Antarctica, resulting in species unable to migrate to the colder south and are increasingly facing the risk of extinction.
--> Meaning change

IMHO Option C

Imo A

A. As the temperature keeps rising in Antarctica, the risk of extinction faced by species that cannot migrate to the colder south has been increasing.
Correct.
B. As the temperature keeps rising in Antarctica, species unable to migrate to the colder south have been increasingly facing the risk of extinction.
The risk of extinction has been increasing/ increasingly facing the risk of extinction.
The first one is direct and concise, while the second one is wordy.

C. As the temperature keeps rising in Antarctica, species that cannot migrate to the colder south are increasingly facing the risk of extinction.
SVA. That is modifying the singular species, so usage of are is wrong.

D. The temperature keeps rising in Antarctica, and as a result, species that cannot migrate to the colder south have been increasingly facing the risk of extinction.
SVA. That is modifying the singular species, so usage of are is wrong.

E. The temperature keeps rising in Antarctica, resulting in species unable to migrate to the colder south and are increasingly facing the risk of extinction.
The temperature are increasingly..... [makes no sense]

Answer: C

As the temperature keeps rising in Antarctica, the risk of extinction faced by species that cannot migrate to the colder south has been increasing.

A. As the temperature keeps rising in Antarctica, the risk of extinction faced by species that cannot migrate to the colder south has been increasing. --> Incorrect. has been is incorrect usage. is increasing would have made more sense.

B. As the temperature keeps rising in Antarctica, species unable to migrate to the colder south have been increasingly facing the risk of extinction. --> Incorrect. 'temperature keeps rising' not in parallel with 'have been increasingly facing'.

C. As the temperature keeps rising in Antarctica, species that cannot migrate to the colder south are increasingly facing the risk of extinction. --> Correct. 'temperature keeps rising' is in parallel with 'species are facing the risk'.

D. The temperature keeps rising in Antarctica, and as a result, species that cannot migrate to the colder south have been increasingly facing the risk of extinction. --> Incorrect. 'temperature keeps rising' not in parallel with 'species have been facing'. instead of have been facing, are facing would have made more sense.

E. The temperature keeps rising in Antarctica, resulting in species unable to migrate to the colder south and are increasingly facing the risk of extinction. --> Incorrect. Meaning is distorted. temperature rising is not the reason for species unable to migrate but for facing the risk of extinction.
