Hi Everyone,
Just starting with my GMAT preps.
Plan to work with the Manhattan GMAT ( just the course materail and tests.... not purchased the package), the OG and Kaplan ( just the tests). Please advise if I am on the right track.
I have a quant undergrad and grad background having done my engineering and my first B degree. verbals quite OK ( written my GRE and other forms of exams close to GMAT such as the CAT in India).
Also, mainly can anyone guide me on which is the right diagnostic test to give a fair assessment., I do not want to waste a Manhattan test at this stage as I plan to buy the package. Is the free Kaplan test a good assessment to start with ( heard the questions are quite tough and demoralising. Please advise).
Ohh and btw, also have a Barron's book for good company

I wouldn't look for a CAT, which gives you exact information in terms of the final score. The idea of the CAT is to gauge your level in the different question categories. So, you'd be rather interested in how many questions in SC you`ve answered right, and not if you're on 550 or 690 level
This being said, I think you still can use the Kaplan test you thought of, or directly install the free GMATPrep software and do one of the original retired exams there. They are just the most accurate source.
