The questions are arranged in sections in an increasing difficulty order - the first question is always 600-650 level, mid question is 700 level, and the last question is 750 level. If you are in a hurry, you can take either all easy or medium, or all hard questions only. Instead of 45 questions, you can only take 15 and leave the rest for later. Taking the test You should spend a maximum of 90 minutes answering 45 questions or if you are taking fewer then plan to spend on average 2 minutes per question Where are the questions from? The questions have been developed by very experienced and high scoring GMAT Club members Are the questions copyrighted? Yes, but you can post and distribute them to benefit other test takers - please give credit to GMATClub for the hard work our members put into this test Diagnostic_Test_Answers_6.1.xls Revision History: v5.0 - updated over 50% of the questions and replaced several questions v3.4 - fixed the wording in questions 20, 22, 24, 40, 43, 45; download count of the PDF was 272 v3.31 - fixed a typo in the answer key; download count of the PDF was 380; Excel file - 203 v3.3 - updated question 4; download count was 80 v3.2 - updated question 20; download count was 68 v3.1 - updated questions 15 and 25; download count of the PDF was 110 v3.0 - updated questions 4, 15, 20, 40, and 43; download count of the PDF was 1377 Answers Sheet - updated answer choices for v3.0; download count was 2677 v2.9 - updated questions 37 and 13, download count was 2481 v2.8 - updated question 44; download count of the PDF was 600 v2.7 - updated question 36; download count of the PDF was 300 v2.6 - updated question 7; download count of the PDF was 45; updated the answer choices; it's download count was ~1500 -

I gave the GMAT clun diagnostic test...

I scored ( 34/45)....6/10 in DS and 28/35 in PS...

how is stacked against others who took it ?

Also..some questions were simply too lengthy....

If you took the Diagnostic Test online using our Tests engine, you should be able to see the percentile score on the Diagnostic Test review screen.

Thanks, it was a great exercise however in take online option, the question is different( i think its from before it was reworded) it asks to solve for 8small and 2large books, where he can choose 5 books but cant take 2 large at same time, wording was kind of confusing for me, i thought of it that he can take all 5 small books but then reading question it gave me impression that they want to take 1 large book hence i ended up finding probability for 1 large 4small books. Please see if you would like to reword that and clarify it little more.

Why save it for final day?

The diagnostic test should be used in order to identify your weaknesses. After you know your weakest areas, you can work to improve them.

this is SOOOOOOOOO helpful

although I found the test HARD and was wondering if ALL were 700+ levels halfway through.
and I am 1000 questions deep into prep.

The only thing I could say, Holy Mother of God, that exam was quite hard. I was able to do about 32 out of the 45 in 90 minutes. Ofcourse I had only completed the Kaplan book's math section (will start OG12 this weekend) and having an engineering background I thought lets see kitne paani mai hai (translation: hindi idiom for where I stand)

Clearly I have miles to go.

Hats off the makers of this test!
