My problem is that the "gmat fiction" titles are not available in my libraries.Plz tell me, what should i keep in mind when i pick a title & how should i read it to increase my comprehension & speed at the same time.

Just find a book that has standard English in it and you should be fine. Do you have access to The Economist magazine? That would be a good option too.
As a native English speaker, it's a little difficult for me to recommend a way to read. I would say read as much as possible. Sooner or later, it will become second nature to you.

Try to read online material or you can order e-book. Better to study on Computer screen as on GMAT you'll have to read on screen.
