Relevance can be tricky. Even passages from topics you usually enjoy can feel weird on the GMAT sometimes.
Instead of focusing too much on philosophy as a subject, maybe try shifting your approach. Break the passage down into structure. What is the main idea, how is it supported, what role each paragraph is playing (for the topics you find uninteresting). Then attempt the questions from that lens.

If you still want extra reading practice, you can try articles from Harvard Business Review and The Economist. They are closer to the kind of reasoning and structure you will see on the test.
