Hi

Would suggest that you give mocks from GMAT prep. 2 tests are available free on MBA.com

Since these are from the official creators of GMAT these are the best for benchmarking

Thank you everyone!

I took my first GMAT Prep test today, and while I am not entirely enthused by my score, it definitely puts me at ease in regards to where I stand with my prep right now.

Cheers!

Hi icanhazmba,

Now that you've taken your first practice CAT/mock, you can use the results of that Exam to better plan out this next phase of your studies. Before I can offer you any additional advice to that end, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

1) How did you score on this CAT (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?
2) What is your goal score?
3) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
5) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

Hi icanhazmba,

It’s difficult to predict your score just based on your accuracy on practice questions. If you want to get a baseline score, take an official GMAC practice exam.

Once you take a practice exam, feel free to reach back out here, and I can provide some further advice. Good luck!

Hey everyone,

So I took another practice exam today, this time just focusing on the Verbal because I did not have the time or energy to go through the other sections. I got a 48, with 35/36 correct answers.

Now I'm not complaining, but shouldn't the total have been 50 or 51? Any insights?

Thanks.
