Hey bb
I gave a paid GMATPrep mock today and I saw 2 questions from the free pool, though they claim that the question pool does not overlap.

I had a quick question for you. I got stuck on the 5th IR question during GMATPrep mock #3. I guess, the page didn't reload because of network issue and then I was unable to proceed. I tried to refresh the page but that didn't help and also I was unable to give the same mock again, even though the number of attempts under mock 3 is still 0.
I wanted to see if I was near my target score but today was a bad day. I have written to the support team, but do you think that they might have saved my answers in a log format and I will be able to check how much I scored?

Thanks

Hi. Sorry about your exam getting stuck.

GMAT prep online launched over a year ago but still seems to be plagued by technical difficulties. It’s much better than it used to be when sometimes it would just go offline but still.

I don’t know what you will hear back but from the testing perspective, and how system works you should absolutely have your score saved somewhere. There is no reason they should be able to recover it for you.

The equation is whether the support will actually do it :(

Exactly. My reason for even thinking about the log was that when I tried to re-attempt the mock, the first question was the same as it was before and it already had my marked answer ticked and so I though they might have saved the report somewhere as I was done with both quant and verbal.

Let's see what I hear from the support. I'll update the thread so that if anyone faces the same problem, they will know what procedure to follow.

Thanks!

bb answered your question perfectly.

Are you just starting out with your GMAT prep? What is your score goal? Do you need any advice regarding your study plan?

Update :

I got a reply from GMATPrep support team. There was an issue with their code and they got it rectified with the help of development team. I was able to resume the test from where I was stuck and hence the software generated my score.
That means they have it all saved somewhere in your logs, so if you get stuck somewhere, you can simply reach out to GMATPrep at : [email protected]

1. Yes.
2. Probably but not 100%
3. You don’t need thousands of questions but besides the OG’s with 1,600 questions and gmat prep questions (another 1,000) this should be plenty.

Hi bb

In continuation to your answer to second question, there are chances that questions tagged under 'gmatPrep' include questions from Official mocks 3 to 6. Is there any way one can segregate/distinguish questions between paid mocks (3,4,5,6) and free mocks (1 and 2)

Thank you, Devansh
