Hi,
I had taken the gmat last month and i had scored a 650(Q49/V28).
The thing that helped me the most with easing my anxiety with the quant section was skipping 3 probability and combinations questions altogether and guessing 3 more questions really fast and not wasting my time.
But somehow i wasn't comfortable following a similar strategy in verbal as i couldn't differentiate between the easy and the hard questions!
i love solving SC questions but it was hard for me to even figure out the error type when i was in the main exam.
i have attached my ESR report below.
what are communication questions on the SC?

Thank you for reaching out. So, your strategy of skipping questions to save time is a pretty risky strategy. The fact is it likely worked for quant because you are pretty darn good at GMAT quant:). For verbal, since you scored V28, I don’t think relying on a “skipping strategy” will do you any good. Honestly, the best way to a better verbal score is to improve your verbal skills. That said, if you’d like some advice on how to do so, feel free to reach out.

The Tactic to 'dump' a few questions on purpose can be incredibly useful on Test Day - and it can absolutely help you to score higher in the Verbal section. Before we discuss how best to incorporate that Tactic - as well as the data in your ESR - it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) On what dates did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
7) What Schools are you planning to apply to?
