Hello everyone,
I have scored 590 in my second attempt. I need a score of 650 plus to apply desired colleges.
I have completed egmat course and also GMATWhiz course. Solved plenty of OG questions and test series. Was scoring around 680 in all my OG test series but still landed with a score of 590. I have given more than a year to my studies now and desperately need a score of 650 above.
Appreciate your valuable inputs.
GMAT 1 May-2023: 570 V21 Q47
GMAT 2 Aug-2023: 590 V27 Q44
Please let me know the strategy I need to adopt or changes in need to make for my next attempt. I have planned for next attempt in a month or two. My previous attempts were with classic GMAT, while my next attempt will be with GMAT Focus Edition.

Figuring out what Focus score you're aiming for (or a minimum score you'd be satisfied with) could be helpful. Taking an Official Focus mock after getting a bit familiar with the material again could be useful as well (to get a sense where you currently stand including on the three sections). For Verbal, consider checking out Manhattan-Prep's 6th Edition for Critical Reasoning. For RC, becoming familiar with how inference questions work may also be helpful.
May want to check out the differences between the two GMAT versions if you haven't already. Sentence Correction, for example, isn't part of the GMAT anymore.

Hi! That's a significant decrease from your OG Mocks. First, did you take all the OG mocks in simulated test conditions? Second, did you analyze the tests, identify your weaknesses and work on them? Also, did you feel anxious during the official exam or did you feel you were running against time? We have a few test-taking strategies and preparation strategies, but answers to these questions will help us in guiding you better.
