Hi Community - I need some help with my GMAT Prep.
I have a 700 Score on the Classic GMAT - which is 86 Percentile.

I am looking to improve on this in the next 2 months - Target is a score above the 90 Percentile. If that is 675/ 695 I am not sure.

I need advice on what prep material to use.
Currently I have the Focus Edition OG and the Review Books.

I am looking to enroll with a portal based prep service, however very tight on the budget. TTP/eGMAT/Magoosh.

Any success stories? please guide?

Thanks in Advance.

In the context of the GMAT Club discussion, could be explored from a broader perspective, tying it to discussions on regulatory compliance and its implications for businesses. Participants might delve into the regulatory environment in which Globe operates, discussing how compliance with SIM registration requirements impacts the company's operations, customer base, and financial performance. Moreover, they could analyze the potential challenges and opportunities associated with regulatory compliance, such as the costs of implementing registration systems, customer privacy concerns, and the need for effective communication strategies to educate customers about the registration process. Additionally, the discussion could extend to examine the broader regulatory landscape in the telecommunications industry, exploring how similar regulations in other countries or regions might affect global telecom companies' strategies and market dynamics. By engaging in such discussions, GMAT Club members can develop a deeper understanding of the intersection between regulatory compliance, business strategy, and consumer welfare, thereby enriching their knowledge base and analytical skills for GMAT preparation and beyond.

Hi, I am new to GMAT and GMAT Club. Thank you for maintaining a community to help out fellow candidates.
I want to target 705+ in Focus edition of GMAT.
I took the Princeton free GMAT practice test and I scored 645 in that Q88, V83, D84
Can anyone help me out with a strategy or any pointers to guide in right direction?
Verbal is not my strength however I have a strong hold over Quants.

Thank you in advance

Hi. Please take the GMAT Prep official test - that's a much better and more reliable indicator/test.
P.S. If it is anywhere close to the score you got, all your points will come Verbal and Data Insights basically so that should be your focus but I would still take the GMAT Prep to get a good and realistic picture.

Hello Experts,

I am looking to purchase a reliable course especially for the Quant section as I want to strengthen my basics.

I was wondering which from the mentioned Quant sources would be ideal for someone who would want to start his Quant prep afresh?

Really appreciate if I could receive some help in this regard.

Thank you.

Regarding prep courses, in addition to seeking advice in this thread, take a look at the GMAT Club reviews for the best quant courses, and also read through some GMAT success stories to see what materials have worked well for other test-takers.

Hi,

I’m in the middle of my GMAT prep and feeling unsure about my Quant plan. I’ve been splitting my study time between Quant and Verbal, aiming to finish OG Quant by July 20th with 2-3 days per week focused on it. However, I’m reconsidering. I’m thinking of dedicating a full week to the important Quant topics, then focusing on practice tests.

Recently, I scored Q37 and Q27 (didn’t finish) on GMAT Club tests. Should I stick to my current plan, or adjust? Also, would building quizzes for specific topics and gradually increasing difficulty levels help?

Any advice would be appreciated, especially on what Quant topics to prioritize.

Similarly, for any students needing academic help, try the Percentage to CGPA Calculator for quick, accurate conversions here.

Thanks!

So, the good news is that you are in a pretty nice spot!

That said, you do need to continue to find your holes and fix those to help improve your score. Thus, engaging in topical practice is a great way to do so. Let's use quant as an example.

For example, let’s say you want to practice Number Properties. You can do so by answering 50 or more questions just from Number Properties: LCM, GCF, units digit patterns, divisibility, remainders, etc.

After each problem set, it's crucial to delve into the questions you answered incorrectly.

For instance, if you stumbled on a remainder question, take a moment to reflect. Was it a careless error? Did you fail to apply the remainder formula correctly? Was there a concept in the question that eluded you? This analysis is key to your learning process.

By carefully analyzing your mistakes, you will be able to fix your weaknesses efficiently and, in turn, improve your GMAT quant skills. Number Properties is just one example; follow this process for all quant, verbal, and DI topics.

Feel free to reach out with any questions.
