One thing that I did when I was in your shoes was draw up a list of companies that I might want to work for, and then found out what schools they recruited at. Most schools release a list of companies that recruited on campus in the previous year, and those lists are a good place to start. I also directly contacted a few companies, although I didn't always get anywhere.
BTW, if you do look at those lists put out by schools' career centers, be aware that in some cases the companies actually recruited on campus, and in other cases they may have hired someone, but that person found the job on their own, through an off-campus search. The latter isn't necessarily bad, but the former is better. But that's another way to find some potential diamonds in the rough.
