iam confused on which universities to apply.

However i would retake gmat but still would like to know what are my chances with this score.

The programs that you could attend with the score would probably not provide adequate return on investment. So I think from that perspective I would agree it's best for you to put all of your effort in to increase your test score

What schools would be targeting in a perfect world? If you are looking for a regional school then your GMAT would probably be fine, because the ideal GMAT is the one that will get you into your desired program, but as stated above the school you will get into with a 590 will probably not provide the ROI were the price of admission, so your best bet at this point is to retake the GMAT
