Guidance in Reading Comprehension

Question

Hello Everyone,

As i Have tried alot for Reading Comprehension but it is not improving. MY english is very poor. I have worked hard since three months but there is zero improvments in RC and my test is schedule in June. Therefore, very much frustrated and demotivated. Many people said read magazines, articles and news papers along with practise but I did not develop my interest in reading. Kindly guide how can I improve my RC.
I will remain thank ful for suggesstion.....

just take interest in passage or whatever material you are reading , no matter from which field it is . try to internalize some of it while doing first reading . form a coordinate map of different stuff in passage , then read questions and reread the part from where the question is asked and answer it .

Try to focus on sentence correction, understand grammar, and chop a sentence into small chunks. Try to comprehend the meaning of each chunk. After completing a certain amount of lessons, apply the technique in RC. I hope this would work out well.

just being a good reader may not help you. you have to be an active reader meaning you've to know what you are reading, WHY you are reading. Reading something is a bad idea, but reading FOR something is definitely a good idea. When you will read you will try to focus on ''primary purpose'' of the passage, tone of the author (positive or negative), keep your eyes on sentence that may give you inference on that sentence.

as suggested active reading is the key, not just reading will make sense. as you are short in time focus on SC and CR

For RC its a big challenge for everyone because it comes with training your mind to read and infer simultaneously.

I am also sailing on same boat. But here are few things that I am practising:-

Read anything that interests you and if nothing then train your mind to do so..

you can do anything, what you need in all is will power and determination.
