just being a good reader may not help you. you have to be an active reader meaning you've to know what you are reading, WHY you are reading. Reading something is a bad idea, but reading FOR something is definitely a good idea. When you will read you will try to focus on ''primary purpose'' of the passage, tone of the author (positive or negative), keep your eyes on sentence that may give you inference on that sentence.

hi,
as suggested active reading is the key, not just reading will make sense. as you are short in time focus on SC and CR

For RC its a big challenge for everyone because it comes with training your mind to read and infer simultaneously.

I am also sailing on same boat. But here are few things that I am practising:-

Read anything that interests you and if nothing then train your mind to do so..

you can do anything, what you need in all is will power and determination.
