from what it looked like, they haven't accepted many in R1... and have WL'ed a lot many... at least 50 to be precise... but that number could be 100 too... what do you think?
If the number of applicants are the same in round 2 as they were in round 1, you have a better chance of getting in now. Considering the entire class is 240-260 students and as far as I can tell, they only admitted 20-40 people in round 1, round 2 should be significantly larger in terms of admits.

The number of applicants in the WL chat session was about 40-50? So I don't think total number of WL R1 candidates can be 100. It will be less than 50% turnaround for WL chat session which is highly unlikely.

BTW, did all the R1 admits receive an e-mail from a current EWMBA student before the decision deadline?
so 260(total seats)-45(R1 admits) = 215 so hopefully they will admit around 120 in R2? and leave 95 to be filled up in R3 or later... would u guys think the number will be 120 in R2? or much higher?

I honestly doubt they'll leave a ton of seats for R3. At most schools your chances of getting in during R3 are pretty slim, I doubt Haas is much different.

I received an email before and after the decision, but I'm not based in the Bay Area.

So maybe they will leave approx 60 or less for R3? Guess?

I would imagine most of the admits from the WL around R3 are from people that declined admits. So, most of the spots should be going in R2. No idea how many, but the bulk of them should be. I guess we'll find out by how many join the facebook page in the next couple weeks.
On page 1 of it shows out of 27 EWMBA R2 applicants, only 9 have been interviewed, is that accurate? Any idea how many have been interviewed so far? Are they still interviewing? It also shows 15 people were interviewed in R1 and 4 admitted…. This doesn’t sound right. I guess people don’t keep their profile updated… right?

I'd imagine the R1 stats are fairly correct. From everything I've heard, Haas underadmits in R1 and puts a lot of people on the WL that they later admit.
Last year Haas added a round 4 around this time of the year. It would indicate that they did not have sufficient applicants to make a reasonably diverse class. I have not seen anything about round 4 yet does it mean that Haas is okay with the number of applicants and their diversity this year?
