Looking at Anderson stats from US News, it looks like they only got 638 applications and made 419 offers @ 65% acceptance rate.
The fact that an admit was virtually a guarantee, your nervousness is a great testament to how nerve racking this process is.
In business school applications, nothing is ever assured. If they had too many consultants this year, there's a good chance I might not have gotten in, no matter what my credentials are. That's part of the reason this whole process is frustrating. To a certain extent, this is all up to complete chance.
