I applied in round 3. But I'm still waiting on one of my recommenders to get a letter in. Unfortunately, my recommender is a very busy person and has told me that he will get it in to HBS by April 11th.

Will HBS still honor my application? Or am I outta luck?

My last recommendation was submitted on Apr 10, and I just called to verify that I'm still being considered for Round 3, and indeed I am. Whew.

(I had emailed them before, but never got a reply, so I guess calling them is best for a fast response.)

It's a ding for me. It was always a longshot, but since May 14, HBS's decision date is my birthday, I was hoping I'd get a nice birthday present in the end.
