@ankurq7, the question is about timing.
EVERY school requires EVERY applicant to send in the official GMAT/GRE score reports. That is a requirement for every school.
The way they differ is when the official reports need to be received.
Most schools, including HBS, are fine with the UNofficial reports to be provided at time of application.
MIT is one that requires that the OFFICIAL report be RECEIVED when you submit the app. see belowMake sense?

9-4-13 CORRECTION: We were wrong about MIT requiring official score reports to be "received" at time of application. We heard MIT admissions say that in a chat recently but their website clarifies that they will allow you a couple weeks post-deadline for the official report to come in. While this is the Harvard thread, will still wanted this to be noted since we're the one that brought it up. Sorry for any confusion.
